Our salon at 52 Queen Street has styling stations, a wall of wigs and hair pieces, and shelves of products we chose for hair loss and textured hair.
Unity is my labour of love to the community
Hair textures vary, so clients should receive proper instruction on how to care for each person's unique hair pattern. Hair care has to be taught. Unity's goal is to provide clients with basic knowledge in that regard.
Growing up with textured hair in a world where many salons fail to meet the needs of our community, Nadine set out to create a space that truly understands and celebrates our hair. While we specialize in textured hair, Unity is a haven for all hair types.

First of all very nice welcoming, friendly faces and professional Ladies, I had a wonderful first appointment with Jam and Nadine.

I highly recommend. The hairdresser at Unity did an amazing job coloring my hair correctly and trimming it after another hair salon colored my hair two different tones and missed some sections.
I will definitely be back as a regular.

A note on appointments.
Services are by appointment only. Please read our salon policies before you book.
Cancellations
Late cancellations (less than 24 hours notice) will be subject to a 50% penalty charge on the base cost of the services reserved.
Late arrivals
Please call the salon if you will be arriving late for your appointment. If we have not been able to contact you 15 minutes after your appointment start time, you will be marked as a no-show and your spot will be offered to clients on the waitlist. If you are late arriving to your appointment your services may be modified to fit the remaining time.
No-shows
No shows will be subject to pay a fee. This amount must be paid in full before additional services can be booked. Clients who no show more than once will be required to pre-pay the base costs of the service if they wish to book in the future.
Refunds
We do not issue refunds on salon services, however, should you have any questions or concerns about the service you have received in the salon, please notify the salon within two days of your service. Exchange only on all services and products.
Special events
The salon is available for a variety of special events, including bridal groups and more. (Deposit is required for booking.)
